Art vandal by CND and Hello kitty by OPI
Yes, we know, it’s only the end of January, but we just can’t keep these amazing spring collection colours to ourselves any longer! They are so bright and gorgeous, so playful and happy we just have to share them with you. At this stage everyone is tired of darkness and cold, floods and freeze, so we have to cheer up ourselves. They say light therapy is good for one’s mind, we say – colourful manicure therapy is even better!
Art vandal by CND
Art vandal is a spring collection released by CND. It contains six Shellac colours, five of them match Vinylux polish.
The first one is called Art Basil.
This shade of green is very unique, it is warm and has golden shimmer in it, has a great coverage, applies nice and smooth.
To give you a better idea about this colour, here we compare Amazon…Amazoff by OPI with Art Basil by CND.
Mauve maverick is the next one.
This colour is lavender pink, very gentle and sweet. At first glance it looks similar to Cake pop by CND, but if you put them next to each other, Cake pop looks a few shades lighter.
It also looks a bit like Blush teddy by CND, but it is brighter and darker.
Digi-teal is a spring sky blue available in Shellac and Vinylux.
Last year CND released Cerulean sea (Shellac and Vinylux), which was also a beautiful sky blue, and we thought these two colours would be identical, but as you can see in the next image, they are quite different, and both beautiful.
This colour might be closer to Reflecting pool by CND, however this shade is only available in Vinylux.
The next shade is called Future fuchsia.
This is the first neon shade released in Shellac, unfortunately it is not available in Vinylux polish. The colour looks very similar to Tutti Frutti by CND, but it is much brighter and doesn’t have purple shimmer undertones. Let’s hope it will be holiday friendly, as most of that type bright colours bleach, when exposed to pool water and sun cream. It’s definitely worth trying, as it looks amazing!
Magenta mischief is available in both, Shellac and Vinylux.
This is a metallic purple shade, it is warm and bright with pink undertones. If you are not ready for a spring colour just yet, this is a perfect in between seasons shade.
This colour is very similar to Tango passion by CND, but it is few shades lighter.
Here is Magenta mischief next to Sultry sunset by CND.
Next colour is Untitled bronze, which is also available in Shellac and Vinylux.
This is a really pretty rose bronze with pink glitter in it. All shades of rose gold have been very popular since last autumn.
Irreverent rose is a dark pink shade, it is available only in Vinylux.
Hello kitty by OPI
Hello kitty is a limited edition spring collection released by OPI. We have picked up four shades and we hope you will like it as much as we do.
First one is called Spoken from the heart.
We got this colour in the salon a week ago and we are running out of it already! It’s hard to say, if it is pinkish red, or is it pink with the hint of red. It is very cheerful and bright. Lobster roll by CND is the closest shade that we have available at the moment.
Let’s be friends is another lovely shade of a very pale pink.
We can’t get enough of these shades. We are definitely adding it to our already big pale pink collection, which you can find in our post Pale pink trend. This shade is very close to Winter glow by CND.
Small+cute is a nude pale pink, it is perfect for a natural look.
Here you can see it next to Suzi shops & island hops by OPI.
Look at my bow is a bright candy pink.
Here are some more images of this beautiful colour next to other alike pink shades.
